Diet pills? No. Vitamins? Only if you believe you need to supplement some of your nutrients that you aren't getting from food.

    Don't take diet pills.

Vitamins: useless to some, insurance for others. They usually aren't harmful. They have no effect on weight loss.

Here's the thing. I tried diet pills for 6 months and lost 2 stone. I then stopped taking them for the next six months and lost 2.5 stone. So they really had no effect on me. But we're all different. I take a multi vitamin every day and have to say I swear by them. I am difficient in the B12 vitamin and this tops me up as I don't drink milk and don't eat a lot of red meat. It's completely your choice but if your diet isn't rich in vitamins then there's no harm in taking them.
