did you just do the 30DS or did you do another exercise during the day with it? i'm on day five (or six?) and i haven't noticed any change in my body apart from the fact that my legs are getting firmer. i was just wondering what gave you all the best results when doing it.

I felt different the first week, but only because I was SO freaking sore all the time. I would say it's too early for you to actually be able to see a difference in your body. Personally, I didn't do any other workouts when I did the shred. I just watched what I ate. I'm working on Round 2 of the shred now, and I'm adding in Jillian's other dvd Banish Fat Boost Metabolism 2-3 times a week, just to add in extra cardio. I'm going to start lifting weights with my husband soon, so I'll be doing all three of those.0

I do the couch 2 5 k as well. I also do additional ab work and strength training.0

Some days I only to do the shred, other days I run/bike/another dvd..... slowly but surely I am seeing a little difference. Mostly in my stomach.0

up until day 8 or so I had gained a pound but seen a lot of definition in my abs and thighs. by day 10 you'll start losing. I did an occational bike ride on my stationary bike but was most always too sore so just did the shred everyday. Im on my 2nd round day 25 and so far have lost 5lbs. My first round lost 9lbs and 13inchs. Stick with it, its worth it =]0

Good to know Thanks guys! I've noticed that I put on a pound but hopefully that's all muscle. I've been stuck at the weight I'm at now for half a year and not seeing the scale change much is pretty depressing.0

I hear sore muscles retain more water to repair them. Most everyone Ive talked to about the shred either stayed the same or gained for the first part of each level. But have faith, if you stick with it eventually that pound will be gone and then some!!0 -
I started the shred on the 22nd at 158.4. I was doing BFBM every other day and incorporating light jogging as well, but my school work got pretty stressful so I have just been doing the Shred and Jogging. I have been doing the Shred everyday, except Mondays my rest day. I just weighed myself (at night) and weigh 157.4! I am hoping in the morning to weigh 156 :] I did write my measurements down, but they some how got deleted (thanks to my roommate).
I can def. see a difference in my stomach, it is a lot more toned.
