I am watching this movie for the umteenth time. It is still good and a tearjerker everytime. Just thought I woudl share

    Agreed. You should watch it. True, you will cry but the story is wonderful.

    They played this movie on a flight that I was on. Everyone who had headphones was crying.....even men.

    I haven't ever actually seen the movie, but I know the storyline. I'm a nurse in a nursing home, and I have to introduce myself day after day to the same people and.....well....I don't really need to watch it, too......:cry: But you all enjoy it just the same! :wink:

    Don't you wish you could dress like her? I wish we had those kinds of bathing suits with matching headdress and the adorable sundresses with heals everyday... sigh- oh to have lived in such a romantic time :love:

    It is a love story. About a couple who is together during a summer fling then her parents (rich) want more for her and break them up. Don't want to wreck it for you but the book and the movie are wonderful. I have never watched a love story in a movie that I liked this much.

    I've never seen the movie...because I've read the book 3 times and can't imagine the movie being better than the book.....first time I read the book I had to put it down & watch I Love Lucy for an hour (couldn't even see the TV through the tears) before I could finish it...it is easily one of the best love stories ever written....:heart::cry: :heart:
