I'm 5'10.5" & will turn 47 next week. I began my journey of fitness & weight loss on 2/27/16 at 230 lbs. As of today (6/13/16), I am down 47.2 lbs after 107 days of exercise & eating healthier.
I found MFP 3 days after I started and have been committed to logging my meals ever since (3/1/16). It was a HUGE eye-opener for me and has really helped me change my lifestyle for the better.

Thanks! To be fair, the photo on the right is mirrored, so when I look at the picture, to me, I really do look like two different people. Lol!0 -

Thank you, all! I tend to become a little obsessive when I commit to something. I really focus on hitting the small daily goals.1

I originally posted this just over 6 weeks ago. As an update, I'm currently at 176.9 lbs (a total loss of 53.1 lbs). I've raised my daily calorie goal to 2,130, which is not quite maintenance calories - but close. Ideally, I plan to lose a little more belly fat, but don't really plan to lose much more weight, as I intend to offset any more lost fat with muscle.
I've done so well at getting to my ultimate goal of 177, I'm now finding it difficult to change my mind-set from mostly cardio to mostly resistance training.3 -
This is awesome. I'm starting my journey and this is the inspiration I needed.1

Congratulations!! So inspiring. Can I ask what was your daily deficit and what amount of cardio did you do? Also what kind of foods did you eat?1
