I listen to podcasts for about 8 hours a day while working. I am looking for the best (your favorite) food/health/nutrition podcasts.

If you don't have any nutrition based podcasts to recommend, feel free to comment with your favorite podcast in general B)

Thanks for helping me get through my work day!

"The Black Tapes". Creepy, well written, fun. Also, "Freakonimics" podcast.

I love The Splendid Table. Not health focused, but gloriously cooking focused. I need to find some other good ones, though I mostly listen to podcasts when I'm on a road trip

i listen to a lot of sports podcasts, but also Skeptic's Guide to the Universe, Nerdist, Mainstream Geek, & Completely Straight (the last 2 are by the same guy who is an acquaintance of mine). I also listen to Coverville and Serial.

i'm not caught up on all of them, because i cannot listen all day/every day, and i got onboard to couple late, so catching up on all the back episodes is a near impossible feat.

I have listened to Skeptic's Guide before and really enjoyed it. I listen to Thank God I'm Atheist pretty regularly and they reference SKttU a good bit along with Dogma Debate.

I LOVE Serial. Season 2 wasn't as good to me as season 1 but I still really enjoyed it. I watch Nerdist videos and Tabletop but I've never listened to the podcast :) I'll have to check it and Mainstream Geek out. Thank you for the recommendations!

Stuff you should know (SYSK) is my all time favorite!! One of the hosts, Chuck, got me hooked on this MFP app. I wouldn't be on here without him! Check out the group SYSK in the MFP community. I promise that I've never met Josh or Chuck or even spoken to them, but I do feel like a spokesperson for them because they are so much fun and really awesome.

I used to listen to a lot more, and so my list has been weeded down a little. The ones I currently like: Skeptics' Guide to the Universe, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, Judge John Hodgman, This American Life, Jillian Michaels (the content hit or miss, but her voice is motivating at least!)

Regarding fitness podcasts specifically: I used to like Fat 2 Fit Radio, but they quit making episodes and now the charge for the ones that they did make or something.

Currently I only listen to Mike and Mike ESPN
    and NPR car talk
But I have in the past been a regular listener of various QDT Quick and Dirty Tips Grammar Girl, Fit guy and Nutrition Diva

    Tech related I listen to
Tom Merritt's Daily Tech News Show
    This week in Tech

    Filler shows:
    Wait wait dont tell me
    Martin Bailey Photography

    Apps
I use stitcher and Podcast Addict

    Even More
I listen to audible audiobooks. Can't replace the coherence and insight of a full book with pieced together wisdom found in podcasts.

I also make youtube playlist of various programs like late night comedy or music and/or TED talks
I hope this helps you fill those 8 hours
Thanks for the question. Hard to find other fellow podcast listeners anymore
