Uh, butt getting "bony"?

I went to a swim meet the other day and sat on a concrete bleacher for several hours. Now, I'm sitting on a hard chair - and it's reminded me ...

I've lost about 50 pounds, and I suppose some of it is in my butt. My "seat" is changing - meaning I can tell it's becoming more "uncomfortable" to sit on a hard surface - it feels like my bones are much closer to the surface of the chair/bench than they used to be.

Anyone else noticed this? I guess I need to start working on my "glutes" to build my seat back up - for comfortable bench warming.

I have noticed this too. More incentive for me to get off it and exercise and have fun. :)

Yes, I lost only around 17lbs, but I noticed this too. We have hard chairs in my university, but that was never a problem...until now! Fortunately, after sitting on those chairs for a few days, it got better, I just needed a few days to recover. I think you will get used to it, you just need some practice haha... enjoy:D

I've noticed that a bit too! But what is really annoying me is that I've managed to lose weight from my knees (not the belly or *kitten*, just my bloody knees!) but because my legs are so heavy, when I sleep on my side my knees are pressing together and it's really uncomfortable! Oh well, you can't pick where you lose weight I suppose, hah

I'm right there with you! Even when I was heavier, I never carried much weight in my butt so I've always had this issue of hard seats being torturous. It's a good problem to have!
