Just not seeing it...

I am getting a bit frustrated and disheartened... I'm down 23(ish)lbs this year (I lost a few before I started logging again) and I am just.not.seeing.it!

My friends, colleagues and family all comment on my loss, but I thought I was meant to notice the changes in myself before they did!? My clothes are fitting better so I know it's happening, but when I look in the mirror I feel like I look the same.

I can't be the only one experiencing this? :(

Do you have any before and after photos? They are good for highlighting changes.

I have started taking them monthly, but only 1 month ago (so 1 set of pics, then 1 month later) I know its a marathon not a sprint, but I just wish I could see it at least a little bit!

A lot of people can't see themselves clearly in the mirror -- it's easy to see who you think you are vs. the reality. Measurements help, and it's good you have photos. I used jeans in a particular brand -- even if I didn't feel like there'd been much change, the fact I was fitting into the next size down was evidence.
