Halfway there...67lbs down..

I started MFP in Jan and am now at the halfway mark. It is appropriate that I have hit this halfway mark at the halfway mark of the year I think.
I never thought that I would actually see this thing through to be honest with you. I was probably the laziest person on the face of the earth. Haha!
Having an overnight desk job didnt help either. But I wanted to get in better shape and look better and most of all improve my health.
Things are slower now then in the beginning but I am still chugging along. I actually started to eat a little bit more and some of my exercise cals and things got moving again. (I will no longer try to eat less than MFP wants me to eat.)
I still have a long way to go and I might not hit my goal of 100lbs by my bday, Sept. 9th, but that is ok. I'm surely not going to give up and you shouldnt either!!
Good luck to you all! :flowerforyou:

Awesome! You're doing the right thing. I had to gradually bump up my calories as I got closer to my goal and always ate my exercise calories. Fuel that body and you'll be rewarded!! Awesome work.0

was on the road for two months, was worried I would gain weight but did not, even lost a few more lbs. It was a crazy trip, leaving florida for denver to care for a sick relative we stopped at Biloxie Mi and after losing 40 at blackjack I tried a game called Mississippi Stud and hit it for 1600, we then went to Denver and I visited a casino at Black Hawk Co and won a seat in the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas,,,, we visited half dozed national park stayed at Santa Fe few days,,,,also visited Bryce NP in Utah, North Rim of Grand Canyon, camped at Zion National Park two weeks, then on to Las Vegas,, played for 10.5 hours befor losing and then headed for Death Valley, Giant Sequoia National Forest, stayed there and Yosemite and then to Reno,, and finally back home was 8 weeks to the day and I even lost 4 lbs... Now back on my diet and exercise program.... Mainly while traveling I concentrated on low carb diet and it seemed to work.0
