Adding steps from a device that doesn't sync with MFP

Is it possible for me to input the steps reading from my *very very basic* wrist pedometer?
The inbuilt accelerometer on my S6 eats the battery, and although very accurate, I don't have my phone physically on my person all day.

The only thing i can suggest is to calculate the average length of your paceas out it in that way. That'll be just a ballpark figure of course.1

Thank you, might try that then!0

What my FitBit activity tracker does is record the "difference" between my stated MFP activity level and my actual activity. So you won't want to record 100% of your steps as exercise.
The next best thing (probably) - find the activity level ranges based on steps. Then just log the "bonus" calories as exercise. If you signed up as sedentary, you already get credit for around 3,000 steps. To find the "bonus" change your MFP settings to the different levels, you will find the difference in calories for your height, weight, etc.
