You can do it. I did that about six years ago and have never regretted it.1

You should expect to have caffeine withdrawal if you were consuming caffeinated soda. Caffeinated tea or even caffeine tablets can help with the headaches.1

I had to quit sodas too. It was hell because I love it more than alcohol out anything else. My reason was I had really bad pain from it, my stomach & chest would hurt. I couldn't eat a meal without stopping every few minutes. The worst was burping I would wake up doing it and ages before I could stop. I can still do it easily, not a very good party trick though lol. You can do it, you don't want it to get as bad as me lol2
