Now I'm at 229.5 just trying to maintain a steady weigh... my first pregnancy I was 135lbs pre post was 165lbs... then weight keep going up. I just want friends and need motivation after these 4 month are over I need to lose 100lb or more depends how much I gain next four month.

I am currently 19 weeks pregnant and trying to keep my weight at a slow gain pace as I was a little overweight when I first got pregnant.0

Nice congratulations on ur pregnancy. I'm in same boat trying keep weight gain at a minimum. So far 6 month (24 weeks) still doing good. Baby good at 1lb 9 oz... I'm glad this baby I don't have the craving as the last one. So that helping alot.. plus with this one I eat like a bird but I drink alot of water hubby calls me a human fish tank lol0

Thanks.
I tend not to overeat during pregnancy as I have a lot of food aversions and nausea through the whole pregnancy. I am going to town on melons though (watermelon and cantaloupe).0 -
Oh watermelon sounds good... I never had morning sickness... heard not fun... I just don't have the need to eat.. but I eat cause I know I need to... I'm just only want fruit smoothie and water...0

It is definitely not fun, especially when you are a chef and a foodie normally. I try to think of it as nature's way to make sure I don't gain 200 lbs because if I got cravings I would probably eat the whole house and then some.
Smoothies are definitely another go to for me, easy to digest.2 -
Oh wow a chef... if I was one I would gain 50lbs again...but thank god I hate cooking my hubby cook... when I do cook I don't even like the food... yea i just had lean cuisine pizza and a cup of orange juice mixed with water for lunch...no breakfast... and I feel I ate the whole house cause I feel super full0

Congrats on your pregnancies ladies.
I'm only 10 weeks, but I'm really just trying to enjoy this pregnancy. It will be my last since I'm about to turn 38. I gained about 20-25lbs with my 1st two kids and I'm okay with that even though I was about 195lbs when I got pregnant this time.
I've never had gestational diabetes, but my last baby was a 10lber with blood sugar issues so I'll be getting some extra tests early and then forced into the 3 hour diabetes test at 24 weeks. Last week my nonfasting glucose was 67 and they accused me of not eating lunch. I totally had just ate a huge salad and had a brownie in my purse....
Watermelon is freakin awesome for morning sickness, but I've got this weird craving for yogurt. Eating yogurt and oatmeal every day. Like you @Chef_Barbell I've got some weird food aversions. Mostly meat. This is my 3rd baby and chicken was the nastiest thing ever with the previous two and with this one. I think I could eat meat as long as I don't see it raw first...or smell it. I'm also totally grossed out by avocado right now, which I normally love.1 -
