Breakouts on hands from exercise?

I work out at home on my treadmill which only I use. I only use the handles very rarely -- when moving from running to walking. I take a shower immediately after working out. The machine gets washed down. However, I have noticed my hands have started breaking out in small bumps. They are worse on days after I run and are much better on days I do not. Anyone else have similar experience? Thank you!

Sounds like something you should talk to a dermatologist about. Could be some sort of condition that is aggravated by exercise. But I've never experienced or heard of anything like this being caused by exercise.

Try a pair of those one size fills all gloves and see if that makes a difference. Could be you are reacting to whatever you are washing machine with.

Thanks for all the replies. I have an appt. with a dermatolgist. It is just odd how whatever this is flares when I work out. Wanted to check to see if anyone else experiences something similar.

I have similar flare ups. I sweat heavily and get heat rash when exercising. Good exfoliation helps. But wait and see what the specialist says.

Dishydrous eczema, maybe? It's worse when the hands get wet. Little clear bumps, then they start to flake and peel.

I have this..whole sections of my hands peel off. It sucks. Heat and humidity aggravate it.
