Back on the bulk

Towards the end of last year I started on a slow bulk, was going along well. I was also doing SL5x5 but then I made the mistake of signing up for a 70 mile run, which is coming up in 2 weeks.

That meant that my training shifted over to much more cardio, so up to now I have run a marathon and 3 ultras but sadly I reduced my strength work down and started cutting and low and behold, 6 months later, im back to a position I was before I started bulking but worse.

I'm lighter than I was and have lost almost all of the strength gains I made during my initial bulk.

But I'm back on it, going to start a slow 1/2lb gain, probably aim for around 10lbs gain and then cut back down.

Looking forward to see how I can bulk and keep up my cardio, I have realised that just doing one or other can't be a way forward for me, I have to be able to do both to be happy.
