One day when the sky is falling, I’ll be standing right next to you…
First I would like to thank my wonderful husband for always being there. Without him I don’t know if I would be at the point in my life that I am today. He is and will always be my best friend. In high school we were best friends, and then we started dating, before college we got engaged, and married 2 years later. (Ha ha yes just like a silly T.V. sitcom) He is my rock, and I love him for that. I started this because of my Star, and I’m finishing it for Me, My daughter Jessica, and My husband Matthew.
One year ago I attended one of my Best friend’s wedding; after the pictures came back I was shocked. I knew I needed a change. Soon after this I found out I was pregnant with my second child. My beautiful Star is the reason I started anything to lose weight. On September 12, 2010 we lost our Star at 18 weeks, I got to hold her in the palm of my hand for just a moment before she was gone forever. It was the worst day of my life. The next 2 weeks after this I had to be strong for my other child, so I started doing crafts. (You should have seen my house crafts everywhere) Then the crafts just were not cutting it, I needed something else to keep my mind off things, I decided to start running. October I found out I was seriously out of shape after going to the gym 3 times a week to jog/walk. (A far cry from the high school swimmer and soccer player I once was) I started C25k soon after that. At Christmas my husband’s parents came to visit us, and commented on how much weight I had lost and how great I looked. Great ego boost lol. When the pictures from Christmas came back surprisingly I felt I looked good too.
I’ll be there when you’re insecure, Let you know that you’re always lovely.
In January 2011 my husband wanted to join working out with me. We went to the gym, ran, and did silly cardio moves to music every morning. Then a friend from work was starting insanity, so he looked into it and we decided to try p90. We finished that in April, and Matthew lost 30lbs!!! I lost 12 inches, I didn’t get on a scale (sorry). I still continued to go to the gym to run, but I wanted to start another work out. My husband had met his goal so I needed some motivation to get moving again outside of just running. A few of my friends decided to try 30 Day Shred, so eh why not I will try it. I started 30DS on June 1st. I have lost 15lbs and 9 ¾ inches!!! I decided to blog every day about the workout/randomness. So I could get support from my family and friends. Now I’m grateful for my new life, even if I have a ways to go to get my 4’ 11 ½ inch body to a no longer “overweight” BMI.

You look amazing. Good work. I guess we all have those 'aha' moments. Some sad, angry or happy. Everyone is different. My name is Jessica, my fiance name is Matthew and we have yet to have a little one. Next year probably. Imagine if I named her MelMoly. lol.0

You brought me to tears. Sometimes we are so unthankful of what blessings we have, and then something like this comes and reminds us.
Bless you and your family... I can only imagine the hurt and trouble you have experienced. You have risen like the phoenix.... beauty from the ashes...
