Any of you in Colorado and love to camp? How about camp, hike, drink a little, grill some grub, and make some friends? I live near Denver and could use some new friends and suggestions for places to go!

I'm out in Vegas. But I occasionally head out there to run up the 14ers (mtns). Leadville area, Ind pass area. I need to move.

Let me get this right: You are in a forum open to anybody with internet access and an email address, telling people your general area, involving alcohol and camping (in what I'm guessing are somewhat remote areas at the least), and telling these strangers that you'd like to meet them?

    What could go wrong?

Try Moab, just over the state line in Utah. It’s a little warm here now, but will cool down in 6 weeks.

Up at the San Isabel National forest! Beautiful area for camping, lake Isabel has great fishing and the natural water slides are fun!
