I have found several of the listings being inaccurate. It is a good idea to double check and put in your own if you find an error.

I don't even use the database anymore, as even if you correct them, someone can come along and change it. I add all the foods to my diary manually and don't save them to the database. It's the only way you know it's added accurately plus I like to add other nutrients like iron and potassium which others don't always add in the database.

I quit using the database also and track myself on a spreadsheet. I've spent way too much time searching for a correct entry that it's just a waste of time for me to use the database. I don't know why they can't just link the USDA database or other accurate one and use that.

There are entries here for USDA. I use them for produce.
Ex: I type in: usda banana
    or: usda avocado
I learned that different countries use different nutrition information. Serving sizes could also be different sizes. And companies are constantly changing packaging.
Oreos used to be : serving 1

The database is only as accurate as the people entering the foods make it. And since that's fellow MFP users, it can easily be inaccurate.
