    Would I be a grammar Obergruppenfuhrer if I were to point out that they have made a mistake?

    The piece about "William. Shatner. Signs." says that if you read all the extraneous punctuation it "sounds a little bit like you're using the William Shatner Method of Dramatic Acting". Of course that ought to have been "sounds as little as though you're using..."

    Haha me too. I cant help it. We do peer reviews in class and it is ALL i can do not to mark every common or period. Sorry peeps....its just how the brain works. I wonder if they have that sign for a bummer sticker? :bigsmile:

    My first thought was that this was not a grammatical error, it is a spelling error, lol!

    I'm the red pen at my office. Poor spelling and grammar drives me crazy!!!

    I've just seen "then" instead of "than" for the umpteenth time! OMG It isn't the same word. It isn't even close! What is wrong with people?

    I feel a bit better now. Maybe I can sleep tonight.

    Of course, one of the perils of being a grammar/spelling freak is that you have to be extra vigilant in making sure that you don't slip up! Pedantry can be a lonely business. :)
