I wanted to post here so I feel more accountable to do what I say I'm going to! I just got back from a week away from home which of course led to eating crappy and overeating the bad foods. I don't know the exact damage just yet since I won't weigh myself until the morning but I'm sure it won't be pretty. The week before I went away, I got myself back on track from a good month downfall and kicked some major fat butt. I got myself back to my lowest weight then vacation happened. Now I have to do that again, and then some! The week that I had gotten back on track, I learned something about myself...that I can actually run! I went from running 1/3 of a mile thinking I'd never be able to run more, to running a whole mile a day later, to then running 2 miles a few days after that. So now that I know I have it in me, I plan on doing more of it. Well, like I said, I'm hoping this will help me stay accountable since I've put it out there to everyone. I want to get down to at least 130 by Sept, if possible so I think this is the best way to keep me in the game! Thanks for reading! :)

Vacations are great and meant to be enjoyed. Sometimes that includes eating things not so healthy. We need that time to break the insanity. It's not like we do it all the time. I'm getting ready to hit the beach the 11th and know that I'll get out of routine which can actually be good for your body. Every 8 weeks I take a week off to rest my body and then change my work out routine to shock my body.
  • That is actually a pretty cool idea. If I hadn't been off track for so long, this probably could count as my off week but I had just gotten back before I left. The damage was ridiculous and I really feel crappy that I let myself do that but it's not going to stop me from jumping right back on and finishing what I started! Off to zumba I go!
