Privet! My name's Sasha, I'm 23-yrs-old, and I recently signed-up on MFP because I've gained more weight than I'm comfortable with and figured this would be a great motivational tool. I now weigh 129 lbs., but I played competitive tennis in high school and college, so I was always fit and eating healthily, never topping 112 lbs. It's not so much the weight gain that bothers me, but more so the complete lack of muscle tone. Playing tennis for so many years created lean muscles and enviable abs, if I say so myself. Haha. I'd like to lose approximately 20 lbs. by the end of summer and maintain that weight in a healthy manner.

Anyway, part of my problem is I'm no longer in college and have entered the professional world. My job is a particular obstacle because it involves extensive traveling, strange hours, and sometimes severe jet lag, so the majority of my time is spent sightseeing and trying local cuisine or sleeping in my hotel room. If anyone has tips for maintaining a healthier diet and easy exercise regiment while I'm living on the road that'd be great! I'm hoping I meet some great people who'll keep me motivated and offer some advice. =]

Good Morning and I would like to tell yuo good luck on achieving your goal weight. If I could give you any advice at all it would be to control portion size most of all, and try to avoid light night dinners. Also most hotels now have a pool or gym in the building, if you would take advantage of those ammenities you would be able to burn some calorie and alos help with the bogged down feeling from all of the travel. I wish you the best.
