Yes my friends December 7th is fast approaching! Why is that important? It’s this cowboy’s birthday. And it’s the last chance to knit me a sweater in 2011. Ok technically you could knit it for me for Christmas but let’s concentrate on my birthday!!! And I can tell if it is store bought so none of those shenanigans! I have done everything I could to get a hand knitted (not store bought) sweater. I have hit on grandma’s at old folks home, tried to find a knitting school so I could cozy up to a knitting teacher (they don’t exist), and even tried to knit it myself. I accidentally knitted myself to my chair! Look to make it worth your while… I will totally marry the woman who knits me sweater. Being a cowboy’s wife is really cool! I promise! I have fulfilled all my life’s dreams (ok my only dream was to be a dad and I have two beautiful kids so rock on!) except for getting a hand knitted sweater. So remember December 7th!

    A hand-knitted sweater in exchange for a sexy, hot dad with two gorgeous kids? Darn, I'm taken. But come on you single ladies, how could you possibly pass that up?

    Watch out Cowboy! You are about to get enough sweaters that you'll be able to have switch them out everyday from your birthday to Xmas. Careful what you wish for, you might get it ;) Not to mention, you deserve it!

    We share a birthday Cowboy (for reals) and I too have NEVER received a hand-knitted sweater!!! What are the odds? It's like we are soul mates. Well that is if you don't mind my "baggage". I come with a daughter, 2 dogs, 2 cats oh and a husband (and theres the no knitting thing). So it's probably not going to work for us now that I think about it but you keep up the good fight. There's always Senior Centers, Mall Walkers and Florida, don't forget about Florida, it is crawling with knitter worthy candidates. Good luck on your journey and keep up posted. :flowerforyou:

    Guess I better find an online tutorial and get busy!

    Does it have to be wearable outside your house?
    Does it have to be solid? (pretty sure there may be gaps)
    Can you wait til I learn before you pick your bride? :wink:

    You make me laugh! And your birthday is my anniversary (been married almost as long as you've been having birthdays!) I hope you find your sweater, unfortunately while I do knit...i don't do it very well at all! Hugs and smooches!
