Does anyone know how to log the 30 DS? Or do you know how many calories you burn doing it?

Thanks!

Consider buying a heart rate monitor to wear during exercise. I bought a Polar FT4 from Amazon for about $65-70, and it was a good investment! You put in your height/weight etc, and it tells you exactly how many calories you burn. When I didn't have a monitor my exercise calories actually came out higher, and then I got in trouble eating back exercise calories, because I was eating too many! The monitor changed everything and it's extra peace of mind knowing I'm getting an accurate calorie count.

I thought about that, but then I read a news article that says heart rate monitors don't really work as well as they say... Sooo I may look back into that.

I logged it as 25 min of "Circuit training" until i got my HRM. It was within 10-15 cals of what my HRM says so I think it is pretty close. Good luck.
  • I added 30 DS as one of my excercises so it comes up on my options. The burn varies but their are many topics posted on her that give you some reasonable estimates. I burn around 270 doing level 1. I've seen some higher and some lower. Because the strength training lowers your heart rate purposefully during the video, your average heart rate lowers and it causes the calorie count to be lower on a heart rate monitor. Love the video though.

I log it under circuit training general. My HRM says I burn between about 270 and 300 cals depending on the day. I'm 5ft 9.5 and 159lbs if that helps.

Im always on the wii n it tells me how many. Have you typed it in2 the exersise bit mayb someone has already stored a rough amount of how many they burn.
