Why doesnt it recognize strength training as burning calories?

Hi, i go to the gym everyday and log my workouts on MFP but the app isnt counting calories from strength training. I have to log in cardio in order for it to count. An i doing something wrong?

Nope - you're not doing it wrong.
Keep in mind calorie burns for strength training are super hard to estimate.2 -
Log 'strength training' under Cardio and it will give you a few calories. I get about 175 for 45 minutes.+2
