Supplements: Do they help or should I stay away from them?

I'm a 20 year old female, I'm 5'8", and weigh about 180. I'm trying really hard to lose weight. My goal is to lose 30 pounds, at least. About a year ago, I invested in the Shredz Alpha Female Pack. It came with BCAA, Vanilla flavored protein, and 3 different kinds of pills you have to take twice a day. One is a Toner, another is a Detox, and the other is a Burner. I have been working out at least 3-4 times a week for 45 minutes at a time. Every time I exercise, I feel extremely light headed, I have zero energy, and I get tunnel vision and feel like I'm about to pass out. Does this have anything to do with the supplements that I'm taking? I feel like I'm drinking enough water and eating the right things but I could be wrong. Any feedback will help! Thank you!

There are supplements that are worth taking:
- Vitamin D, which most people don't get enough of
- Creatine, which can help you do more work, which helps you build muscle and endurance
- Protein, in case you're not getting enough from your diet
Outside of those, you don't need supplements if you have a decent diet. And the ones you refer to are absolute garbage. "Toner" is meaningless, "Detox" is a scam that does nothing, and "Burner" is -- at best -- caffeine.
Save your money, unless the placebo effect helps you and is worth it.1 -
I take a multi-vitamin and vitamin D.0

Toner, Detox, Burner... Avoid. Waste of money.
Protein is fine.1 -

You do not need any of that to lose weight.
Check that you are getting enough calories. Do this by giving My Fitness Pal your height, weight and activity level (without exercise). Set a reasonable goal of 1 lb a week. Eat the number of calories you are told. Log what you eat and drink as accurately as you can. If you exercise then log it and eat a portion of those calories.1
