If your concerned its only unhealthy junk food, then don't eat any of it. Eat before and get a water, pop, or coffee.0

ONE PLATE.
And that includes the dessert stuff. Remember portion control. Try not to eat anything that is floating. (ie. cheese sauce) Try not to eat anything shiny. (ie. grease)
You have to live, and part of living is food. Just because it's buffet doesn't mean you have to turn into an animal at a trough.
You'll probably still go over, that's just life sometimes. Walk to the party if you can, at least get a workout in before and/or after.0 -
Whatever you do, don't deprive yourself! Instead of taking a big spoonful of something, take half. And I do agree with the 1 plate thing too. Good Luck )0

grilled chicken, broccoli (and whatever other veggies they have), fruit... stick to unbreaded/fried meats and veggies, i'd say...0

load up at the salad bar for fruit/ veggies for your first plate...then you wont be as hungry so when you go to eat the " bad " foods you wont be tempted to eat as much
thats my strategy anyways0 -
You don't want to be rude and not eat Definitely like everyone else said... try things, but small, small portions. Have a good time!0

Maybe just eat a meal ahead of time, and then have a little dessert or something small there? leave a little space in your calories? I've had the same problem with a multitude of graduation parties and I usually eat beforehand and have fruit and water when I'm there and no one even notices!!:)0
