What is low carb?

I've been low carb for over 3 weeks and I feel AMAZING. It was recommended by my dr, to help with PCOS. Before 3 weeks ago I never tracked food. So don't know how many carbs I used to eat.

How many carbs do you eat on a non low carb diet?

I'm just curious.

    I eat between 350 and 450 grams per day.

    i try to eat under 90 grams a day, but my love of fruit especially bananas raise that up. but i make sure my protein is high, im quite sedentary so low carb makes sense to me.

    I generally stick below 20g net (30g total). However, I'd say anything below the 150-125 area could be called low-carb, considering just how much of it the average diet (even on here) will include.

    I try for between 50-100, I tend to be under 60 total not net.

    I do low carb under a 150 to cut but it really depletes muscles make them look flat so I only last about three weeks then eat some carbs muscles Blow up in like 24-36 hours then I go back to the cut again.

    As stated above, below 150-100g of carbs per day is considered to be low carb. Very active people who eat their carbs around exercise could probably get away with eating more carbs since they are burning them immediately.

    I usually eat keto level of carbs. Below 30g. Ideally below 20g of carbs per day.

    I once did a diary entry of a typical day in the past for me to see what my carb level was. I believe it was over 200g. I developed insulin resistance and reactive hypoglcemia at that level. Not good. Going much lower helped my helath and I feel MUCH better, even though I sometimes miss my old sweets.
