Hi everyone
Please help
So I started last year on low calorie diet worked really hard exercise and through diet. From a size 18-20 I lost weight very quickly
I was so happy.
But now I'm 12-14 but want to loose abit more weight so I'm like normal 10-12 but not saying 12-14 isn't but I want to loose bit more weight.
So because I've been on a lis calorie diet I think it's kind of stalled I still exercise like weights 5kg n I have cross trainer n I eat healthy like my fruits etc so y am I not loosing the weight?
Please help me it's really stressing me out
N doctor was useless !! N I know this will sound bad cos I've been on the low calorie diet I'm scared to eat more cos I fear I'll put on the weight. Please help

How many calories per day are you eating and are you using a digital food scale to ensure accuracy?2

Weight loss comes from a calorie deficit
If your no longer losing, your not at a calorie deficit
Are you using a food scale for all your solids? Measuring cups for liquids?
How many calories are you eating? What are your stats?3 -
What is your calorie goal each day? How tall are you? More info is needed to give adequate suggestions. For now, check out The Chart. Maybe it can help.

I'm 5ft n cos it's low calorie it's down to 9000

- Did you re-adjust your calories based on your loss or have you stuck with the same calorie calculation?
- Did you reduce your activity level based on what your previous current activity levels were?
- Weightloss comes in waves - if you had a higher BF % you could be gaining necessary muscle while working out which will not account to loss on the scale.
- Do you know your BF%?
- Are you hungry?
- What are your macros like?
- How do your clothes fit? Are you taking measurements?
- Are you drinking water?
I have been the same scale weight for 2 weeks... I do not particularly care because my BF% has reduced by 2% within that time and my body looks much better. Scales can be deceiving.

I try to do 6 days a week varies during cos I travel to London n when I come home I can do bout 29-3o minutes exercise. On my days off I do more! I'm not sure really. It feels flabby I'm taking water retention tablet n it has helped but j drink lots of water anyway.0

I'm confused cause when u look up bout diet they say eat less exercise more but than u read on something else u need to eat more if ur exercising so I'm confused and as I mentioned before that I'm on a low calorie diet n I'm scared of putting on weight if j eat more0

Wow you sound very sad and scared and you are doing things that seem worrying to me. Taking tablets, drinking excessive water, stressing out, scared of eating? It's not healthy to go through life afraid of eating. You are setting yourself up for failure, just a matter of time before stress becomes unbearable.
My advice is stop stressing out. Learn new perspective. Stop looking at eating as consuming xxx calories or weight as "stalling", whatnot. It's psychologically negative.
Weight control is all about having a good sense of your daily activity level, your energy requirement and eating around that requirement. When you eat, do it in the way that nurtures the body and the soul.
Don't tie xxx calories to a particular time/day for the sake of it. Eat to fuel your activities and eat less if you are sedentary, which anyone can anticipate most of the time. Eat more if you anticipate a long "drought" (travel) or a heavy activity (sport) coming.
You may gain or lose a lb or two, which is perfectly within the body's healthy range.
If the bathroom scale doesn't move, what you call "stall", it simply means your lifestyle reaches an equilibrium.

It sounds like you don't have much more weight to lose. If it's 20 pounds or less, you should only be losing a half pound a week, which is often masked by water retention fluctuations.
Why are you taking a water retention tablet?

I'm not taking diet pills only water retention cos I'm bloated0

If they aren't being prescribed by a doctor, I would discontinue. Just being "bloated" isn't a good reason.0

Well I had a lot of excess water around my water n since taking them I can see major difference0

Please stop taking the water pill if your doctor didn't prescribe them. You're stressed out AND messing with your electrolytes.
Do you have a digital food scale? Do you weigh all your food and log it accurately every day?0 -
No I don't I eat in small portions0

How many small portions? I know I kill myself with two-bite brownies...by the end of the day I realize I've eaten ten of them without even noticing. That can happen with healthy food too.0

You might be eating more total calories than you think you are, if you're not weighing your food to be sure of the calories.0 -
I think it's my lunch I need to eat smaller orations of but by the time it's lunch I'm really hungry like today I'm just so hungry I'm eating sushi0

Electrolytes are what can get out of balance if you pee too much and/or get dehydrated. Losing the water means your electrolytes are more concentrated in your blood stream, and too much of the electrolyte called potassium can make your heart stop. Electrolyte imbalance is why bulimics and anorexics can get weak hearts and end up in the hospital (among other reasons).0

So, you're drinking plenty of water but taking water pills to pee it back out? That's a recipe for kidney issues.3

OP, get a food scale. Start using it to log your food accurately and consistently - every single thing, measured in grams - for a couple of weeks. This will tell you how much you are really eating. It is kind of impossible to give you advise when we can't see your diary and it is most likely inaccurate anyway.
If you were really eating 900 calories, you would be losing weight and feeling lethargic. Get a couple of weeks of good data and the problem will probably jump right out at you!2 -

You clearly are committed to these pills.
Yes, when you're retaining water (often caused by an overconcentration of electrolytes like salt from eating salty foods) drinking water helps get back into balance. However, you are messing with the natural function of your electrolytes and cellular function by taking water pills.
Do what you want if you're convinced it's helping you lose weight in a healthy, sustained manner.0 -

Please remember, just because you may not agree with the advice people are giving, doesn't mean it is not supportive, rude or arrogant. Many people trying to help giving advice have a long history of success which, believe it or not, basically means they know what they are doing.

So you didn't want help? You asked for help.
Weigh/measure your portions, don't take water retention pills, they're dangerous. Drink lots of water, and eat at least 1200 calories.
