ok. this is a no brainer, but apparently I have no brain. How do you connect with friends on this site? And once done, will that show on home page?

    To add a friend: Click on someone's user name. This should popup their user card. Click on their name again from there and you should be taken to their profile where you'll find the option to send a friend request.

    Are you looking to add friends that are already on MyFittnessPal or friends outside of MyFittnessPal?

    just folks on my fitness pal. I am not even sure how friends are used on this site but it seems like additional support.
