At least that's what it feels like... Let me introduce myself. I currently weigh 361 and have had an official PCOS diagnosis for the last 5 years. Within the the last 4 months I've also been diagnosed with hypothyroidism, which actually took a while for me to come to terms with, but it's just become a part of me now.

I've been overweight my whole life, I can't actually remember ever being a normal weight, but now the scale is at the highest I've ever seen it and I need to change. Right now, I can't picture myself in a relationship, getting married or having kids, purely because of my weight, and that hurts because that's all stuff I want to do.

I've tried to lose weight before, tried absolutely every different method out there except surgery, yet some days it feels like all I have to do is look at a sandwich and I gain 5lbs..

I don't want this to seem like a cry for help, I just want to be surrounded by people who are in the same situation as me, who will support me and who I can support back. Please, feel free to add me as a friend, I truly believe we can do this together!

I have felt the same as you at times. I lost 100 kb nearly 10 years ago at which time I was finally able to get pregnant with my son. I have gained all of it back over the years. I don't have medical reasons, I'm just very overweight. Have lost 25 and have at least another 75 to get where I need to be. Add me if you like. I'm on a 90+ day logging streak here so I'm in here a lot. Good luck to you and keep working hard! It will happen!!!

I feel you. Not at the same weight, but I do have hypothyroid problems, and it seems like the only way to get relationships to work/be taken seriously professionally is to lose weight. So.... to the grindstone we go.
