Getting serious!

Hello everyone, I'm Holly!

I've had the MyFitnessPal app on my phone for quite some time now. I loved it at first, then I got distracted & off track so it became forgotten. Now I'm back! Back with the app, back on track, & more serious than ever! I've been making a lot of changes in my daily living, so I'm really feeling positive about seeing changes & I can't wait to see them soon!

Generally, I do most things alone, as per that's the way most of my life goes. However, I know that exercising is better with a community, as well as a community is a great place to ask questions. So, this post is my first hope at widening my very tiny community & opening the door to greater weight loss & better health!

Congrats to everyone on being here, since that's the first step in keeping track of your health & making progress! :)

    I truly understand where you are coming from. I am usually a person that wants to do "stuff" like this alone. i hate group workout classes, etc. BUT, since doing it by myself isn't working... heck, I'm trying from the side that has been proven. i love the app.. and had it on my phone for a while... just started to use it 5-6 days ago. I don't know if I have lost weight, but it has helped me watch what I am putting in. Friend me, we will do this together!!

    @RoseVernon Thanks! :) I really am too! The biggest change I'm feeling is the community. I never tried this part last time, but I'm really enjoying it now. Everyone is so helpful!

    @devteach1 You're so awesome! :D Friending you now!!! I've also had the app for quite a while, since February I believe. I started it mainly to try to watch myself, the weight loss just comes with me finally seeing what I was "really" eating instead of letting too much slip by. It keeps me accountable. I like that. I like learning what food really is, what it really contains & how much it affects my body. :)
