    After reading this thread, I'm reminded why I'm fortunate that I no longer have to work out at a public gym. BTW, I'm an "old" guy too. LOL!!!

    I don't think being an old timer at a gym justifies turning someone's fan off. If anyone else is in the room, I always ask before turning the fan or the TV off or on.

    On behalf of old guys who are not *kittens*, the older gentlemen at my gym are great.
