Hi all I'm 20, 5 ft 9, 147 lbs. I'm a student so I have a sedentary job but exercise around 2.5-3 hours a day 6 times a week so I used iifym.com and it said my maintenance was around 3400 but isn't that too high? I also used the Katch McCardle method which puts my maintenance at 2800. Can anyone give any advice? Trying to lean bulk.

Pick one - or pick an average of several. Log your food and keep good records of your weight. The only way to know your particular TDEE is to run the experiment.0

It's just when I go higher cals I put fat on around my lower abs but no muscle yet I put hardly any weight on with the lower amount?0

So...are you trying to bulk or cut? Pick one and set your calories either on the high end or low end and track it for three months.
I mean, a lean bulk is a thin margin. No one here can set your numbers for you. Keep good records. Take measurements, track your lifts.0 -

If you're trying to bulk you're just making life more difficult for yourself with all that cardio.1 -
