Are you taking it with a MEAL? or just food? Take it with a full meal. Are you taking any other meds? Even birth control pills or tylenol should not be taken within 2 hours of taking your vitamin.0

I've noticed that even if a take my vitamin with my breakfast, I get sick. I need to already have something in my stomach so that it doesn't upset me. I usually will take mine with tea or water about 10-15 minutes after I eat my breakfast. I've also noticed that if I only eat a piece of fruit for breakfast, I still get sick, so make sure you're eating something with more to it, like toast or cereal.0

Some people have to slowly build up a tolerance for vitamins. Have you tried multivitamins made for vegans? Sometimes entirely plant-based vitamins are easier on the stomach. Also, have you tried taking them with your late snack before going to bed? If you take it before bed, you might fall asleep before the nausea sets in and miss it altogether. And are you just taking one multivitamin, or multiple individual ones? Have you tried children's mulitvitamins?0

You're probably just going to have to deal with feeling sick to your stomach at the beginning. When I first started getting used to my one-a-days I had to take them before bed so I wouldn't be sick to my stomach and as I got used to it I started taking them earlier and earlier until my body could adjust.0

You could also try one without Iron in it. I work at a pharmacy and whenever someone gets prescribed a prenatal vitamin (has a lot or iron in it), the pharmasist always warns that an upsest stomach/nausea may occur.0

When I was pregnant with my son, I could not tolerate the really strong prenatal vitamins, so my doctor said take children's chewable vitamins or gummy vitamins. Something is better than nothing. So that is what I take now and it seems to help. Try and find some with vitamin B12 in it. They also have chewable ones and gummy ones for adults in health food stores, which your stomach seems better able to absorb, so I've found.0

i hate taking pills so i take a liquid multi vitamin, its called isotonix from market america. they also just came out with adult gummi vitamins...they r good and u can get them at most vitamin shops!!! good luck!!0

I take gummyvites as well as their gummy calcium. I can't handle the chalkiness of regular ones. And I also agree, you need to be taking your vitamins with a mean, otherwise you will get an upset stomach.

Another option is liquid vitamin supplements. GNC has tons of them, and some actually taste really good.0
