5 guys burgers and fries

I haven't eaten here in about a year but I just ate there now
I wouldn't have eaten there except the person I was with was adamant on going here
I ordered the double patty bacon cheeseburger and we split a large order of fries
I ate my burger and probably 80% of the fries
I just looked up the nutrition facts and the burger was 940 calories and the fries are 1310
And it's also mad expensive like 12 dollars for a burger and a drink and like over 20 dollars with the fries
The burger basically tastes as good as a Wendy's baconator just way way way more expensive
And it's just too many calories with the fries
Especially when the person you are with keeps throwing the fries on your plate because she doesn't want them but doesn't want to waste them

I get 3 patties no bun w/tomato, grilled mushrooms, and grilled green &jalapeño peppers. No fries for me. I like the place.4

Now I want Five Guys. Or Smashburger, which is closer.
If you know you're going out to eat, the best thing to do is to look up calorie information beforehand to see what fits into your goals.3 -
I get a junior cheeseburger, no bun, split a small fry with my friend (and don't eat much of them) and enjoy the tasty burger
(I look it all up before I go so I know exactly what I can fit in my day.)

I love their food! But yes, too expensive. If I'm going to spend that kind of money, I want a real meal, like from Apple Bees or Sizzler.
I only easy at 5 guys if somebody else is paying, or with gift card (that somebody else paid for)0 -
The food is good, but overpriced.0

What's with the paper bag FULL of fries like...damn.
I mean I could probably feed all of Manhattan with one bag of five guys fries.
Been a long time since I went but I'm pretty sure it was a regular size I ordered.
Food's so good though!2 -
Once you get used to eating healthy, the thought of eating at Five Guys, is actually nauseating. Those greasy fries, with oil soaking the brown paper bag. Ugh.
I don't even like the smell there.5 -
Sucks when you look up the cals of ur favorite foods only to find out it's worth a week of calories.4

It's a treat. I have it around once every six months. That infrequently won't break the calorie or financial bank. (And it's better than Wendy's)1

Go once in a blue moon. Enjoy it. Then move on with life. Don't get caught up in one offs. It's the sum of your actions that make the whole.4

Personally I enjoy Five Guys it's okay to have fun once in awhile and enjoy yourself and blow your calorie limit. Just log it. And go back to what you're doing remember this is a long-term Journey it's not a short Sprint0

Five Guys is really overrated in my a opinion. It wouldn't make my top 10 of burger joints...0

Tis true with most restaurants...calories to the max! I was going to order a grilled chicken burrito at a Mexican restaurant last night, till I looked it up and seen it was 950 calories! I got the 6 oz sirloin with salad instead...450 calories...less than half the calories! Who knew?!1

Bingo. I'm guilty of going bananas looking at my daily intake but the reality is when I look at the week I'm still at a healthy deficit. Case in point, last weekend I was in an airport and hit an Outback in the terminal. Had the chicken something or other sandwich and fries and nearly hit my daily intake in one sitting. If one isn't eating it every day, things will be all right.
