8 months ago I started training again after a 20+ year absence, within 8 weeks blew away 28llbs, over Xmas maintained weight loss then stuck bobbing along +/- 4llbs. Now despite training 3 times a week and staying inside my carbs intake have put on and am maintaining an extra 11/12 llbs.
Cannot get rid, feel better, happier, am told look trimmer and accept fat weight less than muscle which is building but cannot get rid of that belly fat.....help, suggestions!

Why do you think a carb limit is so important?
    (Clue - it isn't!)

Of course you can, but you will lose fat all over. Suggestion - a modest calorie deficit and patience.

Losing weight is all about the calories.

Agree with the other posters carb limit has nothing to do with it. It comes down to a matter of your total calories. As simple as it sounds and it is, that's what throws most people look cuz it seems too simple. you eat less calories than your body Burns you lose weight you eat more calories than your body Burns you gain weight doesn't matter what you eat.

As far as not being able to get rid of stomach fat, blame mom and dad for that. Your genetics are going to determine where and how you lose and there's nothing you can do to speed up the process unless you go into a larger calorie deficit.

so if you meant calories not carbs the next question is are you using a food scale.....

I suspect the answer is either no...or not usually...or I measure yes..which is not the same.
