Just curious what should I be tracking, my cholesterol was elevated a smidge so I know to track that but not sure what I should or need to track in addition. Im not diabetic and not following any special diet. Ive always in the past just restricted my calorie intake severely for awhile and never really exercised and the wt would come off no prob. Not realizing or knowing what I was actually doing to my self in the long run. So now im older and wiser(a lil) and doing it correctly. I currently track calories, fat, carbs, protien and sodium. What do you think?

I'd say protein, sodium and sugars for sure.

I track Fat, protein, fiber, sodium and sugar. "Carbs" don't mean a whole lot to me. I try to make sure I eat MORE fiber than recommended and less sugar. I'm pretty much always over on sodium but it keeps me aware. I'm usually way over on protein but that's a good thing, I think.

I would say that it depends on your goals and what kind of exercises you do. The more cardio- the more good carbs. The more weight training the more protein and veggies. Don't forget your water intake too. I try to keep my sugar down no matter which I do.

i wanna see 115 - 110 on the scale, hate to say this but im addiccted to "the number" and lose the lil pooch my beautiful daughter gave me and get toned. my exercise routine consist of JM DVDs ripped in 30, 6wk6pk, no more trouble zone, banish fat boost matabolism, yoga, TM 5k loop twice a week and eliptical maybe once week(not a lover of the devil's machine but for some reason I want to be). As far as water I try to drink a gallon a day, only happens on rare occassion's i do get 1g in but for sure everyday Im drinking way more than 8 glasses a day.
