Hi! I have lost over half of the weight I am getting rid of but hit a plateau so I decided to try something new to (hopefully) get through this. I am in my first week of lifting weights for weight loss but am still a bit nervous about becoming bulky instead of just slim down and tone. Even though I have found in my research that this will not happen (at least not doing it the way I am), I still like to see for myself. Has anyone done this before? If so, I would LOVE to hear your story and see some pics of your results. It would be so helpful and motivating to see/hear what kind of results I can look forward to by focusing mainly on strength training. Thanks!!!

I use to only lift weights to me exercise is exercise. I just recently added cardio to my workouts for heart health. I hated cardio. One thing to remember with weights is the scale number might not change because you have gained muscle which is more dense than fat. So you might shrink but be the same weight on the scale.

Thank you so much for sharing your pics! It is definitely motivating and comforting to see how weights won't bulk me up but give me the exact results I'm looking for. You look awesome! Nice work and thanks again.

Any other pics and stories are more than welcome!:)
