Craving days before TOTM

For some odd reason, I get these bad cravings for chocolate, candies, and salty chips when I'm about to get my period. It's so frustrating because I eat pretty decently the rest of the month. But when Aunt Flo is her way, I get intense cravings for sweets and fatty junk food.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I have and im sure almost all women have. Just adjust your calorie settings for those few days to allow more calories and exercise more if you can Drink plenty of water to flush out the salt. dont beat yourself up over it aunt flo hates us all0

Yep:bigsmile: For days like that I have the 90 calorie Fiber One brownies,banana w/nutella, or the 100 calorie packed pringles. I don't deprive myself around that time- I just try to eat a lower calorie item. I also drink lots of water for the water retention:sad:0

EVERY TIME!!! I don't think I touch a vegetable or healthy protein for about 2 days. I usually get some pretty insane chocolate and then pizza cravings.0

Eat SMALL servings of chocolate (and good chocolate, like Dove). Sun Chips have a good deal fiber....0

I'm right there with you sister. I just had two hotdogs...
But they were only 110 cals each with bun and ketchup!0 -
i get the chocolate, ice cream, pickles. cravings... FroYo & dark chocolate are my best friends! and the pickles i like are only 10 cal for a half (as in half the whole not like half a spear) a pickle...0

I caved in and got myself a melon ice bar. It's 140 calories, but oh so good! Hopefully this will satisfy my sweet tooth.0

I get crazy pickle cravings. SALT SALT SALT.... I just try to drink as much water as possible before that TOTM. But you may want to try 5htp-It really helps with cravings and relaxes me. I only take it for the week or so before my period and it really really helps!0

I finished eating my melon ice bar, but my sweet tooth was still begging for more. I desperately wanted to stuff my mouth with a handful of hershey kisses. I knew I'd feel really guilty after eating it, so instead I decided to make a fruit salad (with watermelon, strawberries, apples, and pineapples). The fruit salad totally killed my craving for chocolate.0

I hateee that! I do so well the rest of the month normally and then this happens. If I want salty, I reach for a 100 calorie pack, or pretzels. If I want chocolate, I go for something small and with dark chocolate. Also, I agree...banana and Nutella is awesome!0
