Catching Up on My Health

Hi everyone. My name is Jared and I'm a 37 year old father of two with one on the way and a husband. I recently went for a doctor visit after five years of avoiding it, and found out that I was generally healthy except for my extremely high anxiety level, weight and I very high cholesterol count.

Living in the south, on the gulf coast, we have a great deal of amazing Cajun and seafood cuisine which I've helped myself to way too much.

I've promised myself that I wouldn't let myself die early for something so easily preventable and have, with the direction of my doctor, started eating healthier, taking anti anxiety medication, and decrease my waist size.

I started out at 200 pounds and, after 5 weeks, have gone down to 190. I go for another cholesterol check on the 20th and aim to have my count below 200 by that date.

Hi, I'm your same age. I had blood pressure of 155/115, lost 30lbs and dropped it to 130/90. I'm looking another 15 to get it even better. Cholesterol also improved. Losing will definitely help.
