Hi All,
Been logging my food on here for a couple of years, but now starting to feel that I want to get more active.
I've recently retired and want to avoid becoming too much of a couch potato.
I'm now 50 and despite losing almost 3 stone I still have at least another 4 to go.
I do see a personal trainer and can really see the benefit, but I want to do more activities during the rest of the week.
I have a back problem and so I'm a bit limited with the activities I can do.
My three main ones are Walking, Cycling and Swimming.
So I was looking for friends both on here and on Garmin Connect.
To give you an idea of where I'm at, I'm currently doing about 6000 steps a day, and two days ago I rode 7 miles (the furthest I've ever rode since I left school, so I'm no super athlete, just an overweight woman trying get in shape to enjoy my retirement.
I have a Vivosmart 2 and a Garmin Edge 25 bike computer (nothing fancy, but it logs my rides)
I have a Windows phone (Yes, I'm the one) so I'm limited in the apps I use, but I do use endomondo as well.
Really trying to build up a group around these three core activities, so please add me on Garmin Connect: riverboat2001
Cheers All
