Just started MFP again this week. After gaining A LOT of weight over the past few years, I have decided that it's time for a change.... No excuses!! I am making small, realistic, attainable goals and dedicating myself to this change. I'm tired of being fat, I'm tired of making excuses and I'm ready to do this. Wish me luck!

    Good luck paulawhyde! Always remember to celebrate the small wins along the way (in a healthy way of course :)) You will make it without a doubt. Remind yourself everyday why you are doing it, just not to loose the weight but what else in your life will benefit from your awesome efforts. Put a sticky note on the bathroom mirror ~ It helps me not only in maintaining a healthy lifestyle but my overall general outlook. I am excited for you and keep us posted on your progress and add me as a friend if you would like.

    You can get it done, its mind over matter use what ever you need to keep you motivated!! Its more a mental game than it is physical. It is extremely empowering to be able to say "I don't eat that kind of food, my body is too good for that!" stay strong
