Scale wrong

Options
Went to the doctor and their scale was 10 lbs heavier than the one I've been using! TEN!
I know it's just a number and I've still lost weight no matter what number shows.
The goals I've set, mini and long term, are now 10 lbs farther away. So discouraging!
What would you tell yourself to feel better?

My doctor's scale is 8 lbs heavier
    Who cares?!
All scales will be a little different.
Set your goals and go by one scale for tracking your goals. Forget all about the doctors scale. It's just a number anyway. Track your progress from your home scale and don't worry what other scales say.

Did you weigh in at the doctor later in the day? With more food and water in your system? With heavier clothes and shoes on than when you weigh at home? That can all account for about 10 pounds of weight.

The number on the scale is just a number. It reflects what we weigh at the moment, but no two scales will ever be exactly the same. Throw the heavier number out as an outlier and keep going!

I did weigh before leaving home to see if there would be a difference. ..and I sure got one!
    Just feels pretty crappy.
