    Why would that make it a "weight loss shake"?

    None. Weight loss shakes are 100% unnecessary.

    The only requirement is to eat at a calorie deficit.

    You can drink all the weight loss shakes you want, but they will only work if you consume less than you burn. Therefore, the drinks are not necessary.

    Atkin's makes a great shake. Low carb and 15 grams of protein.
