Losing weight to gaining muscle

Im not to far from reaching my weight lose goal. Started at 258 now 187 hope to get to 170. My intentions are to turn my weight loss into muscle building I'm not looking to get huge. But I definitely want to gain a noticeable amount of muscle. My concern is that with having to increase my daily calorie intake is that I will gain weight but not as muscle. Has any one been in this situation? How much weight did you gain in muscle? What was your calorie intake? Any advice will help along with any tips for the future.

Start lifting now! Eat at maintenance or just over.0

You need to lift starting now and you need to quit staring at the scale. That's just the reality of body recompositioning. If you think your scale or your swift is what makes you look good you have it all wrong.
Get naked... Look in the mirror... Like what you see?
You can start at eating at your maintenance calories and just start lifting. You don't even need to increase... Just start lifting and see what happens. Measure your body fat percentage first because bf% and LBM are king (or queen) in the physique game.
Time to change it up...
