I have my Fitbit synced to mfp and have enabled negative calorie adjustment but was wondering when Fitbit tracks an exercise do I need to log it into mfp or do I just leave it? I appreciate any input!

If your Fitbit is synced and you're seeing the activity adjustment in MFP, I wouldn't log it again. That would just potentially double-dip into your calories.0

You only need to log things like swimming were your Fitbit is off if it has a HRM.
If it doesn't, then you also need to log things that aren't step based (cycling, elliptical). I recommend doing that on Fitbit's side, because MFP sometimes glitches and sends the workout log over for the wrong time which messes up your calorie burn.0 -
The Surge does a good job with calorie adjustment from exercising. I use one 24/7; it's easy and plenty accurate. Love it, especially for cycling.0

I also have my FitBit and my MFP synced. It won't double dip into your calories if you log an exercise in MFP as far as I can see. I enter classes and activities that are not step based (kickboxing, spinning, etc) into MFP, with accurate start times and durations. Both apps seem to sort things out when they are both synced. I have not tried to log the activities in FitBit and push that info to MFP, tho, so I can't comment on that one.0

If you log on Fitbit, it will just be accounted for in your adjustment on MFP. It won't actually show in your exercise log on MFP.0 -
Thank you all, I wasn't sure. I'm a little bummed I tried spin for the first time and my Fitbit didn't track the exercise but did adjust the active minutes. Would I still not enter it?0

Your fitbit is more than likely wrist mounted, Spinning doesn't involve a ton of arm movement.
When I cycle, outdoors or indoors, I count it.1
