Sara Lee 45 calories hearty and delicious -- or something like that. They are thin slices, 45 cals a slice, and not rubbery or weird at all. Very normal bread flavor. They have a wheat, honey wheat, and even a multi grain (I think). I get mine at both wal-mart and the local shop.0 -
Nature's Own 9 grain or wheat bread is 40 cal a slice.0

Aunt Millies has a low cal bread at 35 cals a slice, but I didn't like the dry texture of it. I usually eat Sara Lee's light 45 cal per slice. For 10 more calories, you get a lot better flavor and texture.0

Not sure where you're located- Nickels Bakery makes a 35 calorie wheat or white whole grain bread- that I'm REALLY satisfied with.
They are in the OH, PA, IND, MICH, and W. VA areas.0 -
I use La Bandarita low carb low fat tortillas, Thomas's Sahara mini pitas, Thomas's light style bread.0

me too. it has the best list of ingredients that I can find for low cal0 -
Wonder bread just came out with a healthy wheat at 100 cals for two slices
There also Butternut honey wheat at 60 cals per slice0 -
Ezekiel 4:9 Sprouted Whole Grain Bread. It's 80 Calories per slice. It may be higher in calories but doesn't contain the sugars in the other breads mentioned. It's healthier and easier to burn off. Just because a bread says low cal/whole wheat, it doesn't mean it healthy--it's those hidden sugars which turn into fat that you should watch for.0

I like Weight Watchers Rye bread which is 90 cal for 2 slices but I'm having a hard time finding their products in my area now.0

To Bropark2 - where do you buy the Ezekiel Sprouted whole grain bread. That sounds like it would be good for me. I don't like most whole wheat breads because I find them too sweet.0
