Hello everyone, my name is Janice and I've been using MyfitnessPal off and on for almost three year. My doctor gave me a reality check one day and it change my life. I weigh at 235 at 5"3 at my heaviest in my adult life. Food is still a struggle. I was the girl that ate her feeling. Sneaking snacks in my room as a child and always ate whenevery grandmother ask me to eat with her. She read my test results and I felt ashamed, upset and scared. I was 20- 30 close to become a diabetic. I know i was overweight but never thought I let would come to this. Between the time I left her office, to the pharmacy and home, I promise myself to change. It was tough at first to handle. Cause of this my boyfriend at that time because jealous amd starting teasing me harder about everything. He saw me charging and felt that I waa going to leave him. Little did I know that he was the cheater. He kept trying to feed me when I was full, saying that I was too skinny, that I need to stop this and just stay at my old weight. He also a diabetic and lost 70 pounds before we meet. He inspired me to lose weight. Basically he wasn't happy with himself and use me to vent out his own issues. I finally broke of the relationship two years ago and cut connection early last year. He kept sending messages to my old yahoo account.
Eventually I lost 35 lbs in 6 months thanks to the prescription she described for me and for this app. From that weight lost I gain a inch in height making me 5"4 Fast forward to now. I was in between jobs for a while til last summer. I mainimg my weight but haven't push myself to lose another 35. Too much was being thrown at me and I gave up. Now that I am have a stable job, crushing my debt down and had another heart to heart conversation from my doctor. It time to go back on my journey to fitness.
