Hi am quite Heavily disabled so only able to swim but want to track progress. Lose track of lengths so just wondering if anything can track swimming accurately such as fitbit etc.

There are actually swimmers watches that not only track the number of lengths but can also analyse your strokes etc. I don't have one, but they look amazing.

I used to take water fitness classes and my Polar HRM was water resistant and I'd wear and use that.

Garmin's Vivoactive is multi sport including swimming.

I have a sportcount lap counter which goes on one finger. Fairly cheap option if I remember correctly, but you do have to press the button each length.

Garmin Swim counts laps. The multiple watches do the same but you don't need the rest of the functionality.

HRM isn't of relevance to you

Thank you for all the ideas. I will have a look. I can obviously monitor the time no problem but I just want to see any improvements etc. So thank you.

I have a withings and I bought it because it is waterproof and tracks laps..it doesn't track my laps but is waterproof. I have a pool so it's great if I forget and jump in but it isn't tracking my laps...when I went back and red fine print I saw it has to be a much longer pool then my backyard pool...I wish it did!
