HELLO ! ! Another newbie here ! !

Another newbie here.........just made it thru my first week of my pre-op diet before having "sleeve" surgery on July 25, 2011.....Any help out there will be appreciated.
It hasn't been a bad week and the protein drinks haven't been nearly as bad as I thought they would be. They do keep from being soooo hungry during the day, but I am ready for dinner when I get home at nite after work.
This has been a hard long weekend. Isn't it amazing how much we depend on food for enjoyment ! !:wink:
I look forward to any advice, recipes or comments from you all. Like everyone knows WE can't do this by ourselves !

    Lots of water helps - especially before and between meals. Sometimes I think I'm hungry but it turns out I'm just dehydrated. Those eight cups a day make a huge difference. (I put a squeeze of lemon or a dash of unsweetened cranberry juice in it to give it a little taste.)
