Pre and post workout

Just looking for some different ideas to reach my goal is need 42.5 grams of carbs and protein. According to the formula that I seen. Just wanted to kno some things that you guys may eat.

Cardio workout is in about 1hr and a half0

Just after. And I don't do powders so makes it difficult0

Typically before = breakfast or lunch, after = lunch or dinner.
You may be over thinking this a little!0 -
I just was going thru what I read. Probably am never really worried about it before but trying to gain a cpl pounds trying to go from 3000-3100 to about 3600 to see if that helps but it's very hard to try and eat like that without filling up fast0

I mean yeah I can go to mcds grab some nasty grease burgers and gain that way but I need a better way0

Maybe setting protein and fat as minimum goals and letting carbs fall wherever they fall within your calorie goal may be more flexible rather than set numbers or percentages if you are struggling to eat enough?
Starchy carbs are calorie dense and tasty of course, but don't neglect your fat intake for easy calories......
But one of my favourite meals when I need a lot of calories is:
Three egg omelette, chorizo, onion, strong cheese and baked beans.
Quick, easy, tasty and a calorie bomb.0 -
Heck yeah that sounds awesome!! I really don't worry too much about the percentages just I was 290lbs 2 years ago and def do not want to go back to that I'm 178 range now and with working out 3x a week I feel so much better about myself and just everyday appearance0
