I usually hate low calorie dressings. I'm a full fat ranch lover and hate the light stuff but I have found two dressings I actually REALLY like. Ken's lite honey mustard is amazing also Olive Garden Light Italian. I usually can't stand Italian but this one is so good and flavorful. You can see the Parmesan and stuff in it and it's only 30 calories for 2 tablespoon (2f/2c/0p). Just thought I would share because when I first started watching what I ate salads were a way to get in a good amount of veggies and nutrients without being super calorie heavy. Anyone have any other suggestions not only for myself but for others who might have the same problems finding good alternatives.

Lite salsa ranch by litehouse! It's not as low calorie as the one you said (it's 60 calories for 2 tablespoons) but it's still less calories than other light dressings I've seen.

By the way, I usually don't like light ranch either. I heard a lot of people like to buy those ranch packets that you mix with Greek yogurt and it turns out to be only 20 calories for 2 tablespoons

Does it have that yogurt taste that the Bolthouse dressings do?

I'm not sure I'm not really that picky when it comes to dressing I usually don't notice things like that haha, the only time I really hated something was when I tried 0 calorie dressing by walden farms, I was so excited that it was 0 calories but it's so disgusting

60 calories for 2 tablespoons sounds great!

I hate the taste of light ranch also. Makes me sad because I really really like ranch. Haha!

So legitimately, that is a good brand? I may have to try it!

I love Bolthouse Farms yogurt dressings! The one I have handy to look at is the cilantro avocado - it's 40 cals for 2 Tbsp! But mostly I just use vinaigrettes or if it's a taco salad I use salsa.

Here's the link I was able to find btw: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Bolthouse-Farms-Cilantro-Avocado-Yogurt-Dressing-14-fl-oz/43109452

Aldi brand light vinaigrettes are good & some as low as 15cal/serving.
Homemade dressings are easy & then you control the content & usually costs less too. Examples:
Plain yogurt blended with salsa, or yogurt blended with garlic & cucumber & fresh herbs, yogurt blended with avocado, etc.
Vinaigrettes are simple: just mix a flavorful vinegar (like red wine, apple cider, balsamic, rice wine) with herbs, spices, salt, maybe some minced garlic or mustard then sweeten with fruit, or agave, or honey or stevia if the dressing tastes too sour.
I don't add oil to my dressings to keep calorie count lower, but traditionally it would include oil.
Sometimes I make a vinaigrette with the liquid from jarred hot peppers or with some citrus juice like lime or lemon, or even margarita mix.

I just put hot sauce on my salads. There's like 5 calories. When I'm feeling indulgent I use .5tbsp of olive oil or sesame oil with soy sauce. Other than that...no dressings for me.

Flavored or plain balsamic vinegar, or salsa. I've even seen an idea where people use soup, which sounds intriguing to me.

I don't usually bother, but I'm partial to a bit of neat balsamic vinegar. Or a dollop of full fat mayo - non of the nasty xanthan gum jelly that masquerades as low fat mayo.

You guys listed most of my go-to dressings but I recently tried Skinnygirl raspberry vinaigrette and it was SO BLAND. Yeah, it has barely any cals but barely any flavor either.

I make a Strawberry Vinaigrette. 2 tablespoons has 10 calories, 75 mg sodium, 3 carbs, 1 fiber, 2 sugar. No fat!
2-1/2 Tbsp (40 ml) rice vinegar
2 Tbsp (30 ml) fresh lemon juice
    1 small garlic clove, peeled
    1 Tbsp chopped fresh chives
    1-1/2 Tbsp fresh basil leaves
1-1/2 Tbsp fresh Italian (flat leaf) parsley leaves
    1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    1 pound (454 g) fresh strawberries, stemmed
Blend until smooth. I put it all in my Vitamix and it turns out great and makes 2 cups. I usually make half a recipe at a time.

I love some of those already listed: Panera Asian Sesame, Ken's light honey dijon, Light italian from olive garden and also reduced fat buffalo ranch from wishbone (I think?), which has 70 calories for 2 tablespoons and tastes great!

This one and I love Annie's Lite Raspberry Vinaigrette which is 40 calories for 31 grams. I make the same salad almost every day; it has baby spinach, tri-color peppers, cucumbers, strawberries, blueberries, and sunflower seeds and the Annie's dressing is the perfect dressing for it.

I use the exact same dressing, this and a low-fat balsamic & basil vinaigrette. Most low-fat vinaigrettes are actually very decent.

I like OGB (olive oil, garlic, and basil) on my salad. If I can't get that, then I use Ranch dressing, but I do a little trick to save some calories. I dip my fork in the dressing (ask for it on the side) and that'll keep you from using all of it, and there's just enough on it to have a bit of taste.
